Best Walking Shoes — Durable and Comfortable

I ordered these for my daily walks (3-4 miles a day) and I couldn't be happier. I needed something wider across my arch and toes, and these shoes deliver perfectly. For the first time in years, my feet don't hurt after my walks! That alone is worth everything. I've had them for over two months now and the soles are holding up beautifully — the tread still looks almost new. I was so impressed that I've already ordered a second pair. If you're looking for wide, comfortable walking shoes that actually last, these are the ones.

Great fit good looking shoe

Very comfortable and a good looking shoe.
I was hesitant because of the word Orthopedic in the description, but they look just like a regular sneaker and they are very comfortable.
I normally wear a size 9 but that was toooooo long- i was able to return and get an 8 1/2 which should be my normal size anyway 👍🏼👍🏼

Comfy, wide shoes

I got these for walking, and they've been working well!
They're very comfortable for me, and I think they look nice. I like wearing them when I need white shoes or on wet days when I don't want to wear my expensive runners. I will just throw these in the wash, and they're holding up great!
I think they're both a walking and running shoe, but I'm not an expert. I've found them versatile for both.
They're easy to put on and fit well for me. I've been happy with them!

omfortable Wide Fit with Nice Support

They’re comfortable, lightweight nd practical for everyday walking. The fit is true to size, and the wide toe area makes a big difference. They feel roomy and comfortable without squeezing the front of my feet.
I also like that they have a slight heel, which adds a bit of support and makes them more comfortable for longer periods of wear. The cushioning feels good, and they provide decent arch support for daily use.

MY VERY PICKY DAUGHTER -LOVES- THESE

* LOCFIR SHOP Womens Wide Orthopedic Walking Shoes with Cushioned Arch Support Lace-Up Running Sneakers *

My daughter has a gazillion pairs of walking, running, gym shoes and can rarely find the right combination of features to make them truly comfortable. I'm talking about dozens of shoes ranging from $75 to $300, all in like-new condition, just wasting away in her closet. She could open a shoe store. Seriously.

These LOCFIR "wide" seemed to fit the bill with several reviewers stating they were standard width with the exception of a wider toe area. She wasn't crazy about the look of the wide-toe, but gave them a try a few days later... and the day after... and the day after. Now she's in love with them, advising the fit is "perfect" with zero areas of soreness and that they're "way comfortable".

She wanted to know what other colors are available, so I finally gave her the listing info. She went bonkers over the low price, $46 listed, $37 w/coupon... and has already ordered another pair. Knowing how hard she is to please, I have to rate these LOCFIR Wide sneakers at 5-stars with an excellent return on investment.

Good for wide feet and high arches

I have several pairs of LOCFIR shoes because hope springs eternal and LOCFIR keeps improving on their designs. The first 2 pairs were strikes (size and fit being way off), but the 3rd pair won me over. They were a bit tight in the dorsal arch, but over time, they've broken in rather nicely. When I came across these wide orthopedic walking shoes I thought, why not?

I typically wear a size 9 in athletic shoes or an 8.5 wide, but in my experience, LOCFIR tends to run a bit big. Since they don't offer ½ sizes in this shoe, I ordered an 8 and hoped for the best. They fit! The toe box is definitely wider than your standard shoe. It's almost comical how wide the toe box appears compared to the rest of the shoe. I don't want to say clown shoe, but if the shoe fits...

I have wide feet and high arches. These shoes accommodate both. They aren't as cushioned as I prefer my athletic shoes to be, so I'm curious how my feet will feel after a 5 mile walk. Overall though, I'm impressed. I think they've done a good job with these.

My Go-To Everyday Shoes

Super comfortable shoes! I actually already own another pair of these in a different color, so I knew what to expect when ordering.

They’re lightweight, cushioned, and very comfortable for all-day wear. I wear them for just about everything — running errands, walking around, or just everyday use.

The fit is great and the wide toe box gives your feet plenty of room without feeling bulky. Overall, a great everyday shoe that I find myself wearing all day, every day.

Definitely recommend!

Lightweight and comfortable walking shoe

I have several pairs of walking shoes, and these are the pair that I grab the most since I received them. They are lightweight and breathable. I love the clean look of the shoe, not having busy patterns means they go with just about any outfit. I know laceless walking shoes are all the rage, but the reality is that the foot support suffers, so having laces is a plus for me so I can adjust the tightness of the shoes fit. If you plan on walking for any length of time, slip in walking shoes get uncomfortable. Bit these make it through the day for me without any foot discomfort. The wide body feels great and I love that my toes have plenty of room in these. Can I say how much I love that these actually have some arch support! It is not overbearing, just enough to support a natural arch curve. If you want a very comfortable all-day casual walking shoe that matches a versatile wardrobe these shoes are an excellent choice.

Cuter than expected. True to size and a bargain at ~$40!

I wore these all day today and can say I was in no rush to take them off. They had great spring and cushion for my brisk 3 mile walk and then cruised on into running errands and plenty more steps.

I love the uppers of these sneakers. The layers are light & breathable but also soft against my foot. No hard or rough spots at all. The heel cup is plush and cushioned and my heel tucks right in nicely. Everything felt true to size and they are definitely wider than the typical shoe. The toe box is not only wider, but it's shaped more ergonomically as well.

The outer sole is the one area I wish was a little more durable and better quality. After one walk there was already visible wear on the sole.

Overall though, these are a bargain value and comfortable walking shoes. Hope this was helpful!

Lightweight and comfy but not available in half sizes.

These do appear to be a quality pair of shoes, lightweight and comfy with a simple design. Ample room in the toe area helps to make these shoes wearable for just about every situation.
I ordered these for my wife who normally wears size 8.5 (US) but they don't offer half sizes. I ordered size 9 which turned out to be too large for her.
Still, a very good well made pair of shoes. Just be mindful of the available sizes.
Well made, nice style/colors, lightweight and comfortable, and reasonably priced. A good value.

my dawgs aint barkin

These shoes are not only pretty but they are very comfortable. I have abused my feet for years with shoes that are too narrow (heels and such) and now I have bunions. The toe box is nice and wide without making the shoes look weird (I've experienced this effect in the past with other wide toe shoes). I work with dogs and there is a lot of walking involved in my profession, on all kinds of surfaces; these shoes are a pleasure to wear as they are supportive, cushiony, breathable and light weight. I come home at the end of the day with happy feet!!

Regular-width shoes with a wide toe-box for comfort, arch support, no-slip treads, optional colors

Sneakers with a no-slip tread, arch support, laces, and wide toe-box. Note, it's NOT the sneaker that is wide. I have a fairly narrow foot and they fit me properly, in fact they're slightly snug in the heel. Only the toe part is extra wide (which I prefer for walking). Available in four colors. I chose beige.
There was a slight plastic smell when I first unboxed them, but it was mostly gone in a couple of days.
For my foot, these are comfortable. I need arch supports and heel support and it provides both, and there's room in the toes (I dislike shoes with tight toes).
Note: the size chart in the middle of the listing is way off (according to the chart I'm a size 6 which I'm definitely not). Order your normal shoe size (or half a size up if you're a half size). I am usually a size 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand. I ordered size 9 and it fits. In fact they might run just slightly small if your foot is wider in the back than mine.
The shoes were still comfortable on me after walking around for about three hours, and they're stylish enough to wear to the workplace. I haven't tried them for running because I have a different pair of shoes made specifically for running.

Comfortable shoe

This shoe is comfortable and does feel a little like walking on a cushion. The wide toe isn’t exactly flattering on, but my plan is to wear them on early morning walks so style isn’t a necessity, in my case. The back of the shoe seems a tad bit lower than most shoes so it feels a bit like it’s rubbing up and down as I walk. This just means that a full sport sock will be needed for these shoes instead of footies to eliminate that feeling. They do run true to size, so that isn’t an issue.

These are reasonably priced for a well made, solid shoe like this, so I can fully recommend them.
