I'm going to start with the Con's so that you don't make the same mistake as me. In a nutshell, size down a whole size. I found these boots to be too long- I ordered a size 9 (which I assume is a women's 9), and it was at least a whole size too big. I wear between an 8.5 and a 9, but always order a size 9 in boots so that I can wear thick socks. For reference, I wear a size 8.5W or 7M in popular sneaker brands. I tried these snow boots on with warm winter socks and I'm estimating there was at least two inches of room between my big toe and the tip of the boot. Other than the size and a few minor things I really liked these. There were a couple marks on the rubber and some slightly uneven stitching but this is typical these days and at this price I still find these to be great value. On the positive side, these boots are really cozy, and they're cute too! The faux sheepskin goes all the way down and the whole inner is lined in it. The tread is incredible - very big, rubber, sturdy and although I haven't worn them in the snow, I think these would be perfect for those days where the snow has melted a bit and it turns into extra slippery ice. Of course they'd work nicely in regular snow and even just a rainy day. The bottom third of the boot is rubber and totally waterproof, so you could step in a deep puddle and remain dry, just like with rain boots. If they fit me these would be a highly functional winter wardrobe staple! The neutral light beige matches with everything.
